Job Title: SAMPLE LIBRARIAN

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Terms: Part Time, Flexible Hours, $13.50/hour

About Us: Francis King is Minnesota’s largest to the trade showroom and is located in Minneapolis’ historic International Market Square.  We work with many top brands and offer over 150 years of collective experience in the showroom industry.  Our customers are the upper Midwest’s leading Interior Designers and Drapery work rooms. 

About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing personality who is customer service driven and team oriented. This is a sales support position that focuses on maintaining the order of a memo room/sample department.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product knowledge and work closely with staff

  • Hang new product

  • Take down discontinued product

  • Follow vendor rotations

  • Pull memos

  • Organize Memo Room

  • Fill fridge with water help take out garbage

  • Help when needed on showroom floor

  • 15-20 hours a week

  • Adapt to various needs of the selling staff

Candidate Requirements:

  • Follow detailed directions

  • Product Oriented

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Service oriented

  • Good team member

  • Willing to switch directions throughout the day

  • Ability to lift 25 pounds

Job Title: Furniture Service Associate

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Terms: Full time, COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION, Monday – Friday 9-5

We work with many top brands and offer over 150 years of collective experience in the showroom industry. Our customers are the upper Midwest’s leading Interior Designers and Drapery work rooms.

About the role: The Furniture Service Associate works with customers, vendors, and coworkers to provide timely resolutions on service issues and acccounts payable.

Responsibilities:

  • Solves service issues with damaged product.

  • Frequent follow up communication.

  • Communicate with vendors or freight companies regarding service claims.

  • Communication with vendors, receiving warehouses and repair professionals.

  • Coordinate completion of service requests with customers, vendors, etc.

  • Communicates with internal and external personnel in a professional and timely manner.

  • Receives receiving reports, enters release number, receives PO and delivers product on invoice.

  • Informs designer goods are in and sends invoice for balance due.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Customer Service experience.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication.

  • Problem solving skills.

  • Service oriented.

  • Good team member.

POSITION: LIGHTING SPECIALIST/SALES ASSOCIATE

 

Job Title: Lighting Specialist / Sales Associate

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Terms: Full time, Non-Exempt, Monday – Friday 9-5

About Us: Francis King is Minnesota’s largest to the trade showroom and is located in Minneapolis’ historic International Market Square.  We work with many top brands and offer over 150 years of collective experience in the showroom industry.  Our customers are the upper Midwest’s leading Interior Designers and Drapery work rooms. 

About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing personality who is sales focused and customer driven, who has knowledge of selling residential lighting and has a passion with the interiors. This is a sales position that will focus on residential lighting.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain product knowledge and work closely with vendors

  • Leader in selling lighting and lighting plans for new construction

  • Write lighting price quotes

  • Follow up with outstanding quotes

  • Assist designers in finding appropriate product for their current projects

  • Check pricing and stock

  • Send finish samples

  • Answer phone calls and email

  • Refer designers to FK associates for furniture, fabric, trimming and wallpaper sales

  • Provide quality service to customers

  • Keep close relationships with existing and new customers

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of selling residential lighting/Interior Design/showroom/retail experience

  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Excel

  • Excellent sales, communication, customer service and computer skills

  • Problem solving skills

  • Service oriented

  • Good team member

  • Willing to jump in

  • Needs to be able to multitask
